Tennessee is surrounded with beauty and experiences.  Students are encouraged to sign up and join in on the adventures.  Experiences such as white water rafting, horseback riding, Climb Nashville, hiking, and bike rides are just a few exciting adventures.

 

 

Fall 2013 Trip List

*August*

Saturday, 31st - Day trip to the Ocoee River near Cleveland, TN - $50

*September*

September 7th, 15th, and 21st - Local bike trip leaving from campus and touring Mike Smith's favorite routes in the area.  - FREE

Saturday 28th - Zip Line with Adventure Works in Kingston Springs, TN - $25

*October*

Friday and Saturday - 11th & 12th - Camping and Canoeing at Henry Horton and the Duck River - $20

Saturday,19th - Mountain Bike Trip to one of the local parks. - FREE

*November*

Saturday, 2nd - This is a strenuous hike descending 1000+ feet into the valley, crossing foot bridges, but the reward is well worth the effort. - $10

Saturday, 9th - Horseback riding trip at Juro Stables in Mt. Juliet - $25

Saturday, 16th - Lost Cove Cave on Mount Eagle Mtn.  This will include a 2 mile hike to and from the cave. - $10.

*SAVE THE DATE*

Spring Break, March 15 - 22nd, 2014 - We are planning a bicycle trip the full length of the Natchez Trace 444 miles or 63.5 miles per day.   Please contact mike.smith@lipscomb.edu for more information.

Trip requests are welcome and will be discussed with the director of campus recreation.
